Hello, I'm Helen Lewis and today I'm joined by Ian Hislop, Adam McQueen and Richard Brooks,

to talk about this week's news and pick up a few threads from last week's magazine.

Richard, I want to start with you because once again,

Kia Stalmer outlined the Richard Brooks supremacy

by referencing the criticisms that you made in the magazine

of David Cameron's out of parliament activities. Yeah, he led at PMQs last week on the Cameron appointment and he said, well, you know,

he's lack of judgment, all that have you appointed him and soon acts defense was

more or less well he's got a lot of experience the trouble is when you look at the

experiences it's a bit like saying Liz Truss has prime ministerial experience.

Later on in PMQs a couple of MPs followed it up, Nick Smith, the Labour MP.

He pointed out that the scandal of Greensill affair and said how can you how can you point this man?

And wasn't there a particularly devastating question where one Labour MP said

Ritchie Synak could you name David Cameron's finest foreign policy achievement?

Yeah that was Kevin Brennan asked that.

He said, yes, what is this achievement then?

And Rishi Sunach said, well, he hosted a really good G8 meeting in 2013. I'm sure you all remember what happened there that changed the

world economy to remember that? He was not our turn to host it. That's right yeah

so he could not host it. It was at Loch Earn and there were one or two sort of warm words about

You know improving corporate transparency and things like that, but otherwise it was totally forgettable
