| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Joseph Clough. And in today's episode, we are talking about our values and our belief systems which ultimately form our identity. And more importantly, how we can get into a lot of trouble if we don't discover |
| 0:26.5 | and uncover those unconscious beliefs and values. You see, they are unconscious after all, |
| 0:33.5 | because if you could change, you would change. You would just kind of click your fingers and let it go. |
| 0:40.4 | So your unconscious mind is really running all the things that make up your identity. |
| 0:49.4 | And you might even hear my cat in the background as well on this audio. |

| 1:39.7 | disliking maybe so whether that be anxiety fear worried doubt worried doubt, the imposter syndrome, all of those |
| 1:46.4 | things. Now the other thing we try to do is change our behavior. But behaviors are just habits |
| 1:52.0 | and they're governed by something bigger, which is our capabilities. If we have an unlimited |
| 1:58.5 | level of capacity and capabilities, you get to do whatever you want. |
| 2:03.7 | But if your capacities are very limited, it limits your behavior as well. |
| 2:10.7 | So what governs your capacity, your behavior, your environment, what is those two things, your identity, which summarizes |
| 2:21.2 | the beliefs and the values that you experience. |
| 2:26.1 | So what is a belief system? |
