which began as a series of novels by Suzanne Collins trilogy,

and then recently was made into a major motion picture, as they say,

which made a whole lot of money

directed by Gary Ross and starring Jennifer Lawrence, among others.

So we're going to talk about The Hunger Games, the book,

The Hunger Games, the movie.

We will fire off the spoiler horn and talk about the sequels

to the Hunger Games book.

Hello, hello. All right. So the Hunger Games.

Now, my story with The Hunger Games is that my wife read these. She's a librarian and she works in a

children's library. She reads a lot of children and young adult books. And she enjoyed these

books and was very excited to see the movie. And she demanded that I read the books before the movie came out so that we could go see the movie with me having properly read the book first, as one is supposed to do.

So I did.

And in fact, I read all three in the course of a couple of weeks.

So, you know, that was my introduction to this series.
