May the Lord bless you from Zion.

He who made heaven and earth.

So this is a short Psalm, only three verses and the very end of it is basically it's just a prayer of blessing over the people of God.

They've gathered together at the temple for worship of God and they are now leaving and so there's a song of prayer for them.

May the Lord bless you from Zion, he who made heaven and earth.

So from this place as we scatter, may you experience God's blessing.

So we know, based on New Testament, new covenant,

obviously we don't gather together

in one place where the Spirit of God dwells and then scatter from there.

Yes, we gather together with other believers, but the reality is we all have the spirit of God

dwelling in us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, both individually in

1st Corinthians 3 talks about how the church is the place where God's glory dwells.

So as we come together, as temples of the Holy Spirit, as we together are in a sense a temple of the Holy Spirit.

There is a sense though in which we still pray as we scatter.
