Jim and I are gonna just jump right back into it. We left off talking about Dr. Christine Ford

and her allegation against Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court nominee.

So Jim, let's just jump right back in.

And I wanna go back to when we were talking about memory and all that stuff.

I did have a traumatic incident, a crime that was committed against me when I was 15.

But the difference between me reporting it 10 years later to the FBI and YPD sexual exploitation of children task force

was that actually concurrently, very close after the event, I went to my high school guidance counselor

and reported it to him and turns out he happened to be a Catholic priest.

And it turns out he happened to be a Catholic priest who was molesting boys in my class and years before and years after.

And he told me that he forgave me for my sins and he told me to say 10-hour fathers and 10-hale marries and don't speak a bit again.

So I had reported it contemporaneous with it happening and then I didn't for 10 more years.

But at that point, 10 years later, I was a prosecutor.

I had learned a lot more about Catholic priests molesting kids and I had learned about sexual victimization of children.

So I understood that I was groomed, I understood the process and I went through.

But I will tell you this, at that time that I was recounting it only 10 years later.

I know that there were a number of things, I just didn't remember about the events.

Yes, I remember it was a traumatic event. Yes, I remember some details very well.

But other details, I didn't remember very well.
