Gwen Jorgensen

Less than two years after Gwen Jorgensen began professionally racing triathlon, she qualified for the 2012 London Olympics. Gwen won the ITU World Triathlon Series in both 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Gwen became the first American to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport of triathlon during the Rio Summer Games. She is currently member of the Nike Bowerman Track Club and training for the 2020 Olympic Marathon.

Marathon. Crazy. No. And last time I saw you was July 4th because it was at Peach Tree. So crazy. It's actually not that long ago, I know kind of is yeah it seems like forever though

like every time I'm running here in the fall I just think back to the days when you were still

competing so hard but you would you know run with me at my slow pace and enjoy every minute of it

you were always too quick for me but you know that was the one thing I loved about you, Gwen, was because you, and even I just was looking at some of your YouTube stuff, and you still to this day will just listen to your body so much and take an easy day, really easy. Yep. Yep. I mean, you're saying the other day, sometimes you do like nine minute pace.
