What's up you guys? Welcome back to brunch with Des B. Happy Sunday. I'm actually just like checking myself out in the mirror because I'm recording with the different camera today. And I don't know if I can see my like, I don't know what I look like. I don't have a monitor or anything to like double check. And let me tell you we're close today. I had to use my camera that's like I don't know. It's not wide angle. I guess. I'm not really good with cameras. But let me tell you we're fucking we're up close and we're personal today. So bear with me. I went to go turn on my normal camera. What do you guys think

happened? If you're a consistent listener, what do you think happened? Correct. It was dead. It was

dead. And guess what I did yesterday? I charged it. All day I charged it. And it was still dead. But I think our like,

I think our like GFI went out or whatever you want to call it. So when, um, you know,

you have to like reset the electric thing. I don't know. You know what I'm talking about.

Anyways, here we are. Happy Sunday, guys. Another Sunday closer to me turning 30. And some of you

guys listening, you might already be in your 30s. So when you hear me talk about it, you're like, oh, shut up.

You're going to be fine.

I know I'm going to be fine, but it's still such a huge, like you're ushering in such a huge monument of life, especially for females.

I don't know why 30 is so, you know, I think for a lot of people, we get the societal expectation of, you know, in your 30s,

you should have a home, you should have kids, you should have this in your job and your career.

Like, for some reason, women are just like set up for this standard at 30, right? So going into 30

is just, it's huge. It's a big milestone. Any 10 years is a big milestone.

You know, like, think of when you turn 10, bitch.

I know you celebrated a Chuck Echise with that.

Think about when you turn 20.

Again, ooh, beat teen pregnancy.

And then here I am turning 30.

It's also amazing because I don't think we ever have enough time to live. You know, like I think even I had to go to this funeral this past week

and it made me reflect on just this woman's life. And I was like, man, you know, you look back at

photos of this person's family and you're like, man, it's just you never have enough time.

We had a family member passed away who recently, she was 92. She just turned 92.
