Today's episode is about one of the rare mass murders that we have experienced here in Sweden.

As I told you in previous episodes, our gun laws are very restricted,

and we are not at all used to have mass shootings.

At least we were not used to it back in 1994 when this took place.

I have to start out by saying that before I started researching this case,

I just knew what I read in the papers, and that was something like,

a lunatic lost his mind and he gunned down all those people.

Matias Flink is born on March 8th, 1970, and he grew up with his mother and father in the town of Falun in the middle of Sweden.
