Matt Waldman's favorite player to draft this year is that more this week on the couch,

joyous occasion every time Matt Waldman comes back to the couch and you'll find the

corn, Frito pie, happy, Frito pie, it's still there under that cushion.

But while you're looking for the pie, who's your favorite player to draft this year?

Besides Lamar Jackson and Christian McCaffrey, um, and the, you know,

besides first round guys, I'll say Devante Adams, even though, because I think everybody's all in on

Pooka and Nakuwa and how everything's going to be great there with Pooka Nakuwa. But I think the better

wide receiver is Devante Adams. He's one of the best runners in the league.

And even if he doesn't really want to play with Garoppolo, he's had good stats with

Garoppelo.

And he's just he's he's just the better safety net, safety blanket who can do everything.

I think those ADPs should be flip-flop for the knowledgeable players. But, you know, that's kind of where I'm at is I, that and I'm, I guess because we're getting older, I'm kind of getting partial to some of the older guys. I don't think I've drafted many rookies in drafts this year. It's a real problem, ageism in fantasy football. You know, it's something that you can use to your advantage.

I mean, there's an article if anyone wants to take that and run with that.

It's how to use ageism to your advantage of fantasy football.

I think Mike Evans, around the same point in the draft, is probably a similar value.

I like the way you compare and contrast Adams and Nakuwa.

I still like Nakuwa. Sure. Just because Jared Verst called him a psychopath. Like that's the kind of guy I want on my team. You know, reducing fantasy football down to like, I'm just taking players to my team. But I think you're right that Adams and his experience and precision, and you watch him, and something else I want to add his background, one of the first things that happened in the offseason, as far as like big moves for teams, is that the Rams said, we're done with Cooper Cup and we're going to take that money and we're going to spend it on to Vante Adams.

Like, you know, just poofed right in there.

And I mean, I feel like they self-scowl and they understand what works in their system

pretty well. So on that note, Mr. Waldman, Jimmy Garoppolo, like we're looking at a season of

Jimmy Garoppolo, because, I mean, Matthew Stafford still seems like he could turn to dust at any second.
