Hey everybody, we've got a great one today, you know, for a change.

Paul Krugman is my guest, the New York Times columnist, a Nobel Prize winning economist.

I won I won a few Emmys.

He's also a best-selling author, and his latest is arguing with zombies, economics, politics,

and the fight for a better future.

And I've been reading that, and it's terrific.

Also, this is exciting news, arguing with zombies has been sold to the sci-fi channel.

I understand the makeup is fabulous.

It's not real zombies, obviously.

But the show is three zombies.

It's a talk show format, political talk show, and they argue with Paul.

So maybe he'll tell us a little bit about that.

You know, I was reading today about the coronavirus around the world,

and there's a lot of countries that have done it better than us,

but there are a lot of countries that haven't.

This pandemic is a global crisis. And President Trump, he punted and went to the governors,

but this is usually where the United States has come in. We've been the indispensable nation

in the world, and we have completely lost that under Donald

Trump.

We led in the Ebola crisis.

We are the CDC identified before anybody else.

We were leaders there.
