Good morning, everybody. Yesterday I jumped on and talked with you guys about why I had made the decision to shut down the show. And it was really a combination of many things. You know, we've put out almost a thousand episodes. They take a lot of time to produce to get the guest, interview the guest, post production, the video plus the audio,

0:22.4

combing through every second to make sure the audio is as high quality as it can,

0:26.2

you know, working with and figuring out show notes, getting blog posts up,

0:29.8

making changes that the CEOs want.

0:32.0

It's a lot, a lot of work.

0:33.2

And in addition, like I told you guys, we were getting sued so frequently

0:36.8

because boards would hear

0:38.2

the interviews that their CEOs did, email me, and ask me to take the episode down because it was,

0:44.6

quote, too transparent, which is ludicrous because that's my job.

0:48.6

1:07.0

you doing this? You're not going to shut the show down. That is exactly accurate in terms of,

1:12.2

in terms of you thinking about it in terms of money. The reason I did it is because people always say

1:18.5

in the startup world, you know, customers are not real customers unless they put their money where

1:23.3

their mouth is. You know, all those people who say, Nathan, I have a great idea. It's pre-revenue, but I asked all my friends and they said they'd pay.

1:30.6

Then they'd build the product and the friends never pay.

1:33.2

That's dangerous.

1:34.2

So anytime you want to do that, if you want to let people vote with their money, which is

1:37.5

the most powerful way to vote, it can't be rebel.

1:40.2

You have to actually let them vote with their money.
