0:57.5	In 2016, I read a book that changed the way I thought about politics and about white Christian nationalists. It's a book by Robert P. Jones called The End of White
1:03.3	Christian America. And it explained to me why the panic, why this furious outcry from people
1:10.8	who thought that Western civilization was collapsing,
1:13.8	who thought Christians were victims, I couldn't quite wrap my head around it. And so I called up
1:19.2	the author of Robert P. Jones, or Robbie, as I like to call him, and he explained it. And in subsequent
1:25.7	books, he's explained it even more. And he's helped me understand
1:29.2	what's going through the minds of people who would join a movement that seeks to redefine America
1:35.8	as only white, only Christian. And the Supreme Court has its tool in implementing a set of
1:42.2	values that Americans no longer believe in.
1:45.3	He's a warm, wonderful voice.
