I don't know about you, but I love blueberries.

But I haven't bought any from the grocery store in years because let me tell you,

if you think that fresh-picked strawberries are tastier than store-bought strawberries,

just wait until you taste the difference between store-bought blueberries and the ones you eat right off the bush.

My mouth is watering now.

Today we're going to talk about four mistakes gardeners make when growing blueberries. And if you're thinking about growing

blueberries for the very first time, this information is crucial to get started on the right

foot. The thing about growing blueberries is you don't necessarily have to have a garden per se to grow them.

They're an excellent shrub bush. In my opinion, instead of buying a burning bush, buy blueberries.

They become a brilliant red color in the fall, plus you get berries. What's not to love?

And although I haven't done it, many people plant blueberries in

containers, so technically you don't even need a garden space. But most of you probably aren't

interested in planting blueberry bushes as just a hedge, though. If you're listening today,

you're like me. You want the fruit. And you probably know that blueberries

are of the most healthy foods you can eat. They have more antioxidants than any other fruit and are

packed with fiber and vitamin C and that's just the beginning. So let's assume you're ready to stop

forking out $4 per pint for mediocre blueberries and you're ready to grow your own.

First, let me assure you that you can do it.
