January 10th at least four people have been killed and more than 600,000 homes

and businesses have lost power as a brutal winter storm continues

to pound the East Coast.

Heavy snow, rain and wind is bringing warnings of flash flooding and officials are warning drivers to take extra care.

We ask CNN's Allison Chin-char for the forecast.

Hi Joe, more rain and snow are expected today across portions of the Northeast and Great Lakes

regions including Pittsburgh, Boston and Buffalo. Damaging winds are also going to be a huge factor today

with high wind alert stretching from Georgia to Maine.

Wins this strong can make driving very difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.

So please use extra caution if you have to drive in these conditions.

The weather's also been causing some concern in Iowa, where some

2024 hopefuls have had to cancel campaign events just days ahead of the first Caucasus there.
