U.S. job growth soared in September, adding a whopping 336,000 jobs, which is far more than expected for the second month in a row.

It shows the labor market is still resilient even though the Federal Reserve would rather see it cool down so inflation can too.

Some economists think this report may not have the full picture,

given the union autoworker strike is still playing out.

That's a common legal strategy former President Donald Trump likes to use,

and it's what he's trying to do with the two federal cases he's facing. Trump's asked to push back the classified

documents trial in Florida, citing issues over accessing evidence in the case.

And in his election subversion case in DC, he's also trying to push back on filing and other deadlines,

as well as filing a motion to dismiss the case entirely, arguing his actions were protected

under presidential immunity.
