The jobs report is out this morning showing 175,000 jobs were added to the economy last month.

That shows employment has slightly cooled in the US,

raising the unemployment rate from 3.8% to 3.9%.

Economists were expecting a bit more than that

at around 235,000 jobs. So far this year the economy has added on average

276,000 jobs per month. Earlier this week the Federal Reserve held

interest rate steady after a series of hotter than expected

economic data.

Pro-Palestinian protests have been spreading on campuses not just throughout the U.S. but also

around the world.

In Paris, demonstrations have erupted at two of France's most prestigious universities, Sorbonne

and Sienz Pooh, which is the alma mater of many French presidents and has strong ties with Columbia University in New York.

Earlier today French police cleared protesters from Sienz Po's campus while a rally is ongoing at the Sorbonne.

The movement of boycott that are massive.

When boycott movements are massive, they can make governments back down, so we have to do it.

But you also have to protest.

You have to block your university.
