Aid groups are warning that humanitarian efforts in Gaza will completely collapse if the UN's main agency

in the area doesn't get its funding back.

At least half of UNRWA's top government donors have suspended funding over Israeli allegations that some of its staffers

were involved in the brutal October 7th terror attacks, even kidnapping hostages.

The donors pulling back funding includes the US, Canada, Germany and the UK among others,

while the EU has said it will keep funding the agency until an investigation is complete.

The stakes are enormous here and I'm very disappointed with these donors who spent zero

time in suspending aid to an entire organization for the

sins of a few staff. Unra is the primary agency bringing aid into Gaza and 20

NGOs have come together to warn that the lack of funding could

escalate suffering there. This woman in Gaza says the decision will be deadly.

This decision means killing us, killing human beings. This is a death sentence.

This is the only thing we live on and you want to cut it.
