Israel has blamed a case of mistaken identity for the killings of seven aid workers in

Gaza. The Israeli military has released the findings of an internal inquest into the strike that hit

the humanitarian convoy which was clearly labeled with World Central Kitchens logo and says

two military officials have now been dismissed.

We asked CNN's Nick Robertson to take a look at the report.

Joe in their first public report of what the IDF calls a grave mistake, the killing of seven world central kitchen workers in Gaza,

they say it was a misidentification by forces, a misclassification of the event.

They say that they believe they saw Hamas gunman on the aid trucks and tracked the

SUVs hitting them. The World Central Kitchen say this is cold comfort for the

outrageous killings that acknowledge that the

IDF has taken responsibility and has taken discipline against officers

involved. The Israeli military says forces involved in the strike thought they saw a weapon slung over someone's

shoulder but it was likely just a bag. Secretary of State Anthony Blinkin has joined World Central Kitchen in calling for an independent investigation into the killings.

Job growth is still strong in American businesses.

Employers added more than 300,000 positions last month and the unemployment

rate fell to 3.8%. The total is a lot more than economists had been predicting, and many

had expected a drop in jobs from February, not an increase.
