You know I live in an odd space, I guess, on the political spectrum.

I am a consistent constitutional conservative.

You know what I think, you know, why I think what I think I spend an enormous amount of time explaining it.

And yet, some days I'm accused of being all-in for Trump, some days I'm accused of being a never-trumper and so forth and so on.

I'm not all-in for Trump and I'm not a never-trumper.

I promote Americanism as I wrote about in my book, Rediscovering Americanism.

And I fight progressivism as I wrote in my book, The Tyranny of Progressivism.

It's that simple.

Now these are not simple battles, but I'm not positioning myself.

I wear my views on my sleeves, both of them.

So I was listening attentively to the president's speech on his tax plan.

And I went back and read some of the specifics just to make sure I understood what some of the specifics were.

And I think overall, it's a very good plan.

But there's two things that trouble me.
