We are joined by a former quarterback. In fact, he was the 2013 Gatorade National High School

Player of the Year. He played for USC. He played for the Pitt Panthers.

He is a content creator now. He's also the lead analyst for the CW Network's college football coverage.

What's up, Jim? I'm doing well. It's been a little while since I've been intro with the high school awards, but it's a good memory.

Dude, you were the best player in the nation. I love that. In fact, I want to talk about that for a minute.

Before we talk about what's going on around the nation, your journey, Max, is awesome in the sense that you were the national player of the year coming out of high school when you signed with USC. For those who don't remember, who are the other top quarterbacks and other

marque players in your class of 2012?

Yeah, it's funny right now.

I'm actually in Dallas.

You're going to call the TCU game tomorrow, and their head coach, Sunny Dykes,

was the head coach for Jared Goff.

Jared Goff was in my recruiting class.

Baker Mayfield was in my recruiting class.

Josh Dobbs, Davis Webb, a bunch of big names. But it's funny, I'm getting to that age now where

at 29, now it's like Jared's one of the more older quarterbacks in the recruiting class.

Josh Allen as well. It's well documented that he was a no-star recruit. So a bunch of

West Coast kids in that class. It's really amazing. If I'm not mistaken, also, Miss Trubisky,

was he not in that class? He was. He was. Good call. Okay. Now, your years at USC, they were

interesting, Max, in the sense that it was pretty tumultuous, right? Obviously, during that period, you had three different head coaches in
