I'm currently watching a show and I had to Google this because I saw a big thread on this.

October 4th, 2025 is when the next season 50.

Okay.

I hate, you're watching a series two, three seasons in and they get lazy.

And what do they do?

Flashbacks.

Oh, man. And I'm'm thinking am i the only one that

hates these things because if you're really interested in the show you're interested in the

modern times what's happening right then the characters you're emotionally involved with move the

story forward yes and i can see maybe having one flashback to say how this person did something.

But there's a show I'm watching right now where they go back way too much.

And it's lazy.

And it seems like when it almost feels like when what's his face does the Yellowstone dude,

which shows guys riding horses for 10 minutes. Yeah, we're flashing back to a whole different timeline of these other... No, no, no, no. He just... Oh. When he fills time with just horses running. Look at the horses running. Right, exactly. Our guys, you know, just himself. So it's like that. Flashbacks to me are just filler. When you could write the modern story just keep keep that story going it's it's so i googled it on reddit and man i wasn't alone everybody's saying oh i hate flashback episodes it ain't the whole episode but it's a lot of it sometimes you go but it's and by the way i've noticed too i'll be reading my i'll be on my have my phone sit next to me i'm watching to show them into the show them talking about is that it's show animal kingdom now there's a bunch of flashbacks

and and i'm and i'm and all son a flashback part hits up they're good well i know these characters

and so i just read my phone okay well maybe they need a vacation and they stick in a best of

episode yeah but basically what they do.

Well, it's just lazy.

It's lazy writing.

It's lazy writing.

It almost seems like, well, we had this story that we could tell in eight episodes, but we need to give them 10.

So we're going to have to stretch this out a little bit more.
