Alice at 97.3. So early this morning, like right off the back, because we start the show with Green Day. Maybe you don't listen at 545 in the morning when we start. That's we come on with

Green Day. We feel like it sets the tone. We love them. We've been doing it for years. And they've got a brand

new album out tomorrow, which we're always excited about anyway.

And then it's also new ways to start the show.

It's fantastic.

So Green Day is out there promoting that they've got a new record out. I think it's called

Saviors. And that's, we'll hear that tomorrow, the new music. And they did a surprise set at a subway station in New York. I don't have, it looks

like it's Rockefeller Center. I don't know exactly, I'm sure there's a bunch of stops there. But they did a surprise six-song set

a Rockefeller Center in New York on Tuesday night. They taped it for the

Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. So Jimmy is in the band, he worked it out so he could be in there, he likes that.

They all came out in disguises with wigs and fake mustaches and sunglasses and they played a cover of bad

companies feel like making love with Jimmy on tambourine. and they I'm going to

I'm going to see the cover of bad companies feel like making love with Jimmy on tambourine and then they I'm going to assume here I've not seen them tear off their disguises but once they attracted a crowd with their rendition of

So then they went on to play Basket Case, two new songs, a cover of Kisses Rock and Roll

All Night, and American Idiot. So they did a they did a quick set they taped it all. Oh, there's Oh yeah. That tambourine is so overkillry.

Yeah, that is a loud tambourine.

I would like to point out they're all on acoustic guitars including a big giant acoustic

bass that's amazing I mean they're wired in I'm sure they're not just unmiked. They can't be, but they are rocking out and people have gathered and really that's all you can hear is the people and the Tambori.

You hear the people yelling in the audience and the Tambori.
