Welcome to the prayers of rest podcast. Friends, this is the kickoff for our fall season. We are

breaking free from spiritual strongholds. And to help us kick things off, I invited my friend

Jennifer Dukes Lee to come and join us. I told her before I started recording,

I didn't even pull up your bio. I'm just going to introduce you as my friend. We have met in

real life multiple times and her writing has ministered to me over the years. Jen is an author,

a national speaker, an editor. She just does all the things. She's a mom and a wife

of a farmer and a former journalist, too. So you're going to hear some of that coming out in our

conversation. I told her, Jen, feel free to ask me questions because I would love for this to just be encouraging in your earbuds as you

listen, whether you're washing dishes or going for a walk or you're on your commute to work,

that you would just feel like you get to sit at the table with us, a conversation between two

person as you explore this very, very important topic. So thank you. Yeah. So you came to mind,

you know, every time we start a new season as a team, we pray over the topic. We pray over how to

structure it over the themes of each week's prayers.

But as I was thinking about, okay, who can help me kick off this season? The name came to

mind because your recently launched book is different from any other books you've written before.
