Hi everybody, it's your best friend, Sarah.

0:16.5

You know, I can't stop thinking about this.

0:18.5

I have a friend whose kid is at this really great, very reputable liberal school here in

0:27.2

Los Angeles and got this story made me so sad because it's just what I am seeing happening

0:36.9

with liberals and progressives of which I proudly am one, but this is why it makes me so

0:43.5

sad and I feel like I need to say stuff about it because I worry that what liberal has

It's not nice, of course, it's not okay, but it is a part of how children develop these

1:46.6

kind of misguided attempts at figuring out where do I fit, you know, where am I in this

1:54.8

picture, where do I belong, where do other people belong, and it's very usual of behavior

2:03.1

at that age, and it needs to be corrected.

2:06.9

But instead of seeing it as a teaching moment, these kids were just expelled, they were just

2:14.1

expelled.

2:16.2

I mean, God, what an opportunity to teach them about why you had that impulse, and who

2:24.0

you hurt, having them sit in a room with everyone together, looking the faces of the people
