The Secretary of State returns to Israel, Fox News, I'm Tom Rogotti, America's top diplomat

is urging Israel to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza and do more to protect

Palestinian civilians from its war with Hamas.

Fox's Alex Hogan is in Tel Aviv.

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is currently in Jordan, but he was here in

Tel Aviv earlier today speaking to us a small group of journalists about what the U.S.

objectives are in this conflict.

He said there's about four of those.

The main ones are making sure that civilians are protected in Gaza to bring in enough humanitarian

aid into Gaza, creating this two-state solution for path forward towards stability and peace,

bringing home those hostages.

But also, one of the big ones was preventing this spill out of this conflict elsewhere.

He says that those words are already being put into action.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ruled out a temporary cease firing Gaza

until some 240 hostages are released.

Weeks after ordering northern Gaza's 1 million inhabitants to evacuate south, the Israeli

Army is intensifying its bombing of the area.

Israeli soldiers are also battling Hamas terrorists just north of Gaza City.

It's the start of what officials expect to be along in bloody invasion.

That's already pinned down hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who remain in the North,

residents say they are trapped in hell.
