Convention saying she used to be a true believer who spent

holidays with the Trump family but now she's vacing Vice President Harris.

Behind closed doors Trump mocks his supporters. He calls them basement dwellers. And she told delegates. He has no

empathy, no morals, and no fidelity to the truth. He used to tell me it doesn't matter what you say Stephanie say it enough and people will

believe you.

Grisham resigned as press secretary after the January 6th capital riot.

Vice President Harris is campaigning in Milwaukee but is expected

to make remarks later this evening. Former President Barack Obama, the highlight of

the night with a speech that will cap off the evening. Outside the convention

protests have led to some arrests. Chicago police say 13 people have been

arrested since the start of the convention. That includes 10 people who

are arrested with a breach of the fence here yesterday. The court

system is taking it seriously. One of the demonstrators from yesterday who

hit a police officer allegedly with a bottle of water and some water has been

charged with a felony.

Yesterday, a fence designed to keep demonstrators away from the Convention Center was breached.

Authorities fortified it today in an effort to keep people back.

Some Democrats in highly contested congressional districts have

opted to not attend this week's convention.
