We're going to be talking with Cassie Evans, who is a developer education over at G-Sapp. So that means we're going to be diving into all about G-SAP, what it is, where it's at, why you should be paying attention to it, and just generally why it's so cool. So Cassie, welcome to syntax. How are you? Hey, yeah,

I'm really good. I'm very excited to be on syntax. Yeah, well, I'm excited to have you here.

One, you know, we've been chatting for a while just in general, but also GSAB, man, is one of those

things that like really feels like it's been a large gap for me

in my knowledge base. And so I'm really excited to be able to just really understand more.

I think it's a really exciting time to be talking to you about this, given some, some news that

just happened. And in general, I think it's really cool. So, yeah, I'm very, very excited.

Wes, how are you doing today?

I'm good.

I think maybe we should go real quick into, like, what is G sap for maybe anyone who hasn't

used G sap before or maybe it might not know what it is.

So you want to give a stab at what that is and then we'll go into the

announcements shortly after that. Yeah, sure. So G-SAP is a very powerful animation library

that you can use to animate pretty much anything. So HTML elements or SVG or UI stuff, 3D things, pretty much anything that JavaScript can touch.

And it's been around for, woo, like 15 years now.

So for the people that have been around since the flash days, they'll remember GSEF as an action script library.

So it's kind of been like at the forefront of web animation for a really long time now.

Man. And Gsap just had like a major kind of rebranding as well, which was I think great.

Because for the longest time, it was like a, like, superhero man, and it was extremely popular.

But I think, I think a lot of people kind of wrote it off as, like, that kind of whole vibe lost it.

And the whole, the new design looks amazing.
