Welcome to Syntax. We got an episode for you on 3D printing. I think that every developer

0:05.2

should have a 3D printer. I have held off on it for so long, and I've had mine for only a month

0:11.5

and a half, and I have gone full tilt. I absolutely love it. I have so much to say about it,

0:17.8

so much that I think I convinced Scott to also get one, right? Yes. In fact,

0:22.7

mine arrived yesterday and it arrived at like 7 o'clock and, you know, I've definitely purchased

0:29.2

0:34.9

and especially, you know, they're going to be excited by like printing toys or whatever.

0:38.6

But like, yeah, I told them, you know, the point of this is for you guys to think about stuff that you would want, stuff that, you know, you might want to like even create to sell someday or even like invent some things.

0:52.8

Come up with some crazy ideas.

0:54.4

And they both went to their rooms that night and started just sketching.

0:57.6

It was crazy.

0:58.6

They were so excited about it.

0:59.9

So when it arrived, the first thing they did was just like, ooh and awe over even like taking off the plastic of it.

1:07.5

I've never seen them so enthralled by something.

1:10.4

So I just arrived yesterday. I've printed

1:12.6

a couple of squishy turtles

1:14.7

that were like built in on the

1:16.4

machine for them and then

1:17.9

like a scraper that came onto it. Now I'm printing

1:20.5

some baskets. So I'm on my fourth print

1:22.6

and it just got here less than like

1:24.5

12 hours ago. So. Oh man.
