In this month's grace and knowledge, Paul identifies five dangers that can quietly corrupt

our pursuit of achievement.

We've been redeemed to achieve, not for our own glory, but for the glory of the Lord,

who empowers us to do all things by His grace.

Here's this month's grace and knowledge. Christians ought to be the hardest workers on earth. Children of God should strive to

accomplish great things in the name of the Lord. We should be visionaries and entrepreneurs.

We should make radical plans and build bigger, better, more beautiful things. We've been placed by the creator of heaven and earth to be the resident

managers of his planet. We're meant to steward the creation, enhance its beauty, protect it from

the danger of wickedness, and in all of this, bring glory to the name of the Lord. Human beings

are achievers, meant to build and rebuild, to grow and expand, to uproot and to plant, to tear down and to build,

to dream and to achieve dreams.

Psalm 115 says, quote, may the Lord give you increase, you and your children, may you be

blessed by the Lord who made heaven and earth.

The heavens are the Lord's heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man."
