Welcome to meethead hippie. I am your host, Emily Schramm. I'm located in Denver, Colorado. I am a

0:07.8

nutritional therapy practitioner. I am obsessed with learning. I am obsessed with teaching. I'm a trainer and

0:14.6

entrepreneur. And I am so glad you are here. I love my guest today, Emily Fletcher. I'm going to get into it in just a

0:22.4

second, but before we do, happy early Valentine's Day. I love love. So this is a fun week,

0:29.6

regardless of if you think it's a joke of a holiday or not, take care of yourself. And for me,

0:35.5

that has been the biggest eye-opener in my life,

0:39.4

understanding my stress levels, which is what we'll talk about today in so many ways,

0:44.5

because we are all so stressed all the time. And we have talked about this with adrenal talks

0:50.7

and my body awareness project adrenal repair and my hashtag adrenals with M. But I think

0:58.4

one of the things that I noticed is as an empath, as a highly sensitive person, as somebody

1:04.4

who just gives and wants to give and gets fueled by giving, holy shit, what are we doing to put in and not put out? We're always giving

1:16.0

output. So if we can change that story and make sure no matter what, there's input, which is what we're

1:21.9

talking about today with meditation, with Emily, it's crazy. It's like we are so unsure. We don't even know what to do when it

1:29.6

comes to taking care of ourselves. Our stress relief is our workout, right? We're putting work in

1:35.0

in our head, but we're actually outputting or doing something. So what do we do to take care of ourselves

1:41.5

that helps us heal? And so that is the theme of this week of self-care

1:46.6

of Valentine's Day. Just really understand that it's not one size fits all. It's not overnight.

1:53.6

It's not just being mindful of it a couple times and it's changing. It's really hard, but it's also

2:00.3

incredibly necessary. And so get curious about it.

2:04.8

We have 20% off the rest of the month for my body awareness project starting today. So that was

2:11.9

just something that was heavy on my heart because I know it. It's just a ton of information.

2:16.4

It's 14 hours plus a box of essentials that are getting shipped to you. It's a lot. I know it's just a ton of information. It's 14 hours plus a box of essentials
