Welcome to the game turn your life. I'm Dave Anderson. In this episode, I want to talk about the miracle of encouragement. And I'm not exaggerating. It can be a miracle.

Yeah, and you know, and really when you think about the four different types of performers that we

talk about, the four different types of mindsets, we discuss in nearly every one of these episodes

and in my book, Unstoppable, Undertakers, Caretakers, Playmakers, and Game Changers,

one of the key differences between the Playmaker, who's almost the Game Changer, and the

game changer, is their focus on others. The Playmaker, you may recall, is more in it for themselves,

and sometimes when someone is struggling, they don't even mind that much because it makes

them, you know,

look better. They're more in the spotlight. But the game changer has the bigger picture, right?

They're more interested in lifting others and helping everyone get up to another level and not just,

you know, crossing the finish line themselves, but bringing others with them. They measure their own success, not just based

on how far they go, how much they get, but how many people they can lift and elevate and take

across that finish line themselves. And so the willingness, the eagerness, the consistency

and encouraging others is a difference maker between the playmaker and the game changer. So there's a big

deal. Encouragement. Doesn't cost you anything, by the way. And you say, well, but you said the

miracle of encouragement. Is it really a miracle? Well, yes, it is. There are a lot of definitions

of miracle. One of the definitions is a highly extraordinary development that brings very welcome

consequences.

Well, that's really what encouragement does.

It can be an extraordinary development in somebody's day, in the moment, in their life,

and it brings very welcome consequences.
