John and I went to see Ben Hur at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood.

I hadn't seen it in years, but I knew it was one of John's favorites, and I had never seen it on the big screen.

The movie absolutely blew me away.

One year ago, a week after Easter, John said, we absolutely have to do Ben Her for Easter next year.

I put it in the calendar and promptly forgot all about it.

One week ago, an alert showed up in my calendar that Easter was coming and we had a

promise to fulfill. One day ago, John and I met in his apartment to record our discussion

of William Wyler's epic, Ben Hur.

Winner of 11 Academy Awards, tied for the most in history, Ben Hur is a cinematic triumph,

an epic of quite literally biblical proportions.

It follows the story of Judah Ben Hur, a prince of the Jews and best friend of the Roman

Tribune Masala.
