First Timothy chapter 2 verse 1.

First of all then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people.

For kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly

and dignified in every way.

These first two verses of 1st Timothy chapter 2 are a clear command call from God for us to pray for all kinds of people and specifically to pray for Kings,

leaders who are in high positions.

And so I just want to lead us to do that. I know that many people, maybe most people who listen to this podcast live in the United States, so I want to lead us to intercede for leaders in

the United States and not just in the United States though it doesn't just say

pray for Kings and those who are in high

positions in your country. I want us to pray for leaders of other countries. And as we do to know

that we are not just obeying,

First Timothy chapter 2, versus 1 and 2,

but participating with God and what he is doing

among leaders' lives in the world.

Like this is, it's an awesome privilege

and responsibility that we have been given

to join with God through prayer,

like right now for what he is doing in the White House or what

he is doing in this or that leader's life and this or that part of the world that

you and I get to be a part of.

So let's pray right now.
