I'm so happy that you you agree to come the show. I'm a big fan of your hypercritical show on the 5 by 5 network.

I have to admit you have just warmed your way into my heart with your talks, your nerdy talks.

I love the way you think through everything,

and you've always got such an interesting opinion.

And I got thinking a guy like that

must have some pretty strong opinions about what stuff he uses to get work done on his

Mac so we thought we'd have you come in. I think you may be surprised exactly how

weak my opinions are but I guess I do have them. Yeah, well for instance, so your day job, you're a computer programmer.

That's right.

Famously in Pearl and you also write for Arst Technica some of the you know the legendary Mac operating

system review so that come out with every new operating system upgrade but you also

do other stuff for them as well and you blog right you also have a plug

Yeah, I used to do a lot I found I used to do a lot more writing before I started

podcasting and now I feel like the podcast plus Twitter gets a lot of the stuff I would have written.

Yeah, like and then it sort of bleeds it out of me.

So I still do occasionally post something to my personal blog and then ours I'll write something if I think

there's something significant for me to write and of course the operating system

reviews every year.
