I think a lot of Christians, a lot of Christians, churches are sacrificing their good theology

on the altar of unity.

Well, I'm here with Melissa Doherty.

We're going to have a great conversation today about new age and how new age ideas are

making their way into the church.

You can be looking for some of these ideas in your church or church you might visit or

maybe you're seeing it on social media or you're hearing about it from Christian friends

that might be attending another church.

So Melissa, thanks for being here today.

Tell us a little bit about your story of you actually came out of the new age into Christian

faith.

How did that happen and did you grow up in a Christian home?

My story is twofold because I became a Christian when I was 16 and it was unexpected.

I was in a really deep, dark place.

I wasn't really searching, but that's a long story in and of itself.

But I basically had a friend.

I was at a very low point and I had a friend.
