Greetings, people, loved by God. Well, you recall last time we wrapped up chapter 16 of Proverbs. We encountered any number of themes we'd heard before, and

sometimes the words were even identical. An instance is the first verse we pondered anew.

There's a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.

God repeats the warning against going with what seems right to us when that runs counter

to the wisdom of his word.
