0:48.6	Well, it seems Ukrainian counteroffensive is gaining some serious traction on the Western
0:53.2	Zaporizier Oblast front,
0:55.4	apparently breaching the Russian defenses at several of their strongest points.
1:00.4	Meanwhile, the Russians are having real problems dealing with Ukrainian artillery
1:04.0	and are complaining once again of a lack of shells, something that President Putin will
1:08.8	reportedly be asking North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to help him out with
1:13.6	when he meets him in Russia soon. This is good news, of course, for the Ukrainian side, but it's counterbalanced by some rather negative developments.
1:20.6	There's been another corruption scandal inside the army, and President Zelensky has announced the sacking of long-time minister
1:27.9	of defence, Olexey Reznikov, who did much to secure billions of dollars of Western military
1:33.0	aid since the full-scale invasion in 2022. Now, Reznikov has not been personally implicated in the
1:39.9	many corruption scandals that have rocked his ministry, but he does bear some collective responsibility.
1:45.8	And the news of his sacking will, of course, provide ammunition for those on the American right
1:49.8	who present Ukraine as an endemically corrupt state and strengthen the hand of Republican
1:54.5	presidential hopefuls who want to abandon the Biden administration's pro-Kyves stance.
