Summary

J. Warner Wallace uses his abilities as a homicide detective to investigate the history around Jesus. In this Christmas episode, we learn about the time in which Jesus came and all the factors that lead up to it being God's perfect timing for the Savior to enter the world. And it's Jay Warner Wallace, also known to us as Jim. We invited Jim on the show for this Christmas episode for a special reason.

Well, Jim has come out with a new book called A Person of Interest, Why Jesus Still Matters in a World that Rejects the Bible.

And Sarah and I were thinking about what we wanted to talk about for a Christmas episode,

and why not talk about this idea that what we celebrate on Christmas actually happened?

It's a historical event that Christianity claims is true, that this actually happened

Now, we don't claim it happened on December 25th, but that's the day we celebrate.

Another thing that I was thinking about, too, is in one of our episodes with Christopher

West that a lot of you listeners have listened to and if you

haven't you need to go back and listen to that interview but Christopher West kept saying to us

really come? Is it reasonable to think that what we celebrate on Christmas Day is grounded in truth and grounded in reality.
