My studio is inside a rehab clinic and I have a lot of people that are like, well, I didn't think I needed you until my dog got injured.

0:05.8

I'm like, well, I'm not doing rehab here. I'm doing rehab. I'm trying to get the dog to use their body right so they don't get injured so that they can go faster and do the things that we all want to do, whether that's flyball or agility or golf diving or whatever it is.

I'm Hannah Branigan, teacher, trainer, podcaster, and author of the book, Awesome Obedience,

But I hadn't met her in person until I met her at Clicker Expo, which was in Portland this year,

1:34.1

which happens to be where she's from. We didn't really get a chance to talk. But then a couple of

1:38.8

months ago, she actually came to North Carolina and was teaching a seminar, and I had the

1:43.5

opportunity to work my

1:44.5

own dogs at that seminar. So I took rugby and figment and I actually, I know, shockingly

1:50.5

train my own dogs. Go figure. And it was a really cool experience. I really liked what she

1:54.8

had to say. I liked her approach. I liked the way she thought about training and she thought

1:59.0

about the exercises. Like me, she's a

2:01.2

Karen Pryor certified training partner, and that made it extra fun because she's a clicker trader.

2:05.8

And so she's thinking about these exercises from a clicker trainer's perspective, breaking them
