Welcome back to the peripheral. On today's episode, I speak with Travis Myers. He was a New York

Police Department detective way back in the day. He's a veteran, and he was in New York at the time

of the September 11th attacks. This interview has been two years in the making. We've been going back and forth,

meeting each other at conventions and whatnot. Travis is also an author, and he writes

fictional books, but based not so loosely on real-life situations he had found himself in. It was funny, we never really

got around talking about his books during this interview. So I'm going to supply links and the show

Search for Sister Margaret. Travis writes it with his sister. He has three books in the series

thus far. So with that, here is Travis. Well, I'm very honored to have you on. We had met at

CrimeCon briefly, but there's so many people at CrimeCon just coming and

going that it's really hard sometimes to have a long conversation and get to know somebody,

but I'm super appreciative that you reached out and said, hey, do you guys want to talk still?

And I was like, yes, thank you for

following up because I'm terrible at following up. I'm so happy. Well, first of all, yeah,

it was really nice chatting with both you and Aaron at CrimeCon. You know, I met so many people

there. And you guys were actually not only very nice to talk to, but rememberable. You know,

I enjoyed meeting you guys.

But then, yeah, it was just a funny thing.
