toe sticks up further than your big toe? No, I always called that a freak toe when I was

little.

Supposedly it means you're going to be financially well off when you get older.

I actually looked it up years ago and I think that's like genetically the more common one.

So having it not be that way is actually the freakish way but it still looks weird to

me. Like you don't ever draw a foot that way. No, you would never draw a foot that way.

But I remember that the tips of my second and third toes would be just blistered the

hell. And so I would get up earlier or I would skip breakfast and go to the trainer.

It would be an pro athlete. It was a good professional. It was a Kutztown University

in Pennsylvania. And you could go to the trainer and there was a real college athletic trainer

and he would take razor blades to your blisters and do them right.

Is that the treatment? I mean, I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. It seems like it was

like a fine line between cutting off too much of the skin and too little but it hurt like

hell in the morning. It would just feel like I can't. It was terrible. It couldn't even

walk. But then after a while it just sort of, you know, you just get numb to the pain

and then you just play. All right. Never much for summer camp. We used to have a playground.

Like a local playground would run high school kids to supervise from like nine to noon

in the morning. And it would be like supervised kickball games and box hockey and arts and

crafts. It was painly insurance on that. I don't I think it was it was like a

you know, this would be like the very late 70s and early 80s. I think it was a holdout

from a smaller, simpler America. I was just going to say it's a simpler time, right?
