This is Nancy Wilson. Thanks for joining me on this first podcast of 2022.

Well, the first Feminine Podcast of 2022.

I thought a good topic to kick off the New Year would be Proverbs 3, 5 through 7.

I bet many of you know this by heart.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding,

in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

And then Psalm 37.5, which just ties in neatly,

commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to paths.

So what does it look like? That's what I want to talk about.

What does it look like to obey these verses about trusting in the Lord

and committing your way to the Lord, and acknowledging Him in all your ways,

and so forth.

Well, first, the obvious application is that before we make plans,

we should commit our way to the Lord, and we should acknowledge Him.

This should be our normal method of operation as Christian women.

We commit the day to Him, first thing in the morning.

We ask Him to direct our steps, and then throughout the day,

as we move from one thing to the next, we acknowledge Him,

and we ask for His blessing on all of our activities.
