Hello and welcome to another episode of Page 94.

My name is Andrew Hunter Murray, and this week in the second half of the show,

we're going to be talking to Jane McKenzie about buildings going on fire.

Most obviously and recently the Cricket House pub,

but Jane is a bit of an expert in things going on fire.

And so we'll be talking to her about that and that trend.

But firstly, I'm here with Ian Hizlop,

Helen Lewis and Adam McQueen. We're going to be talking about,

well, a lot of different elements of the last fortnight's news,

the bits which came out since the magazine was published last.

And I thought, Helen, we could start with you and talk about

it's sort of a very political summer.

Politics have just kind of kept going when it shouldn't have done.

Yes, a couple of years ago, the parties realised that having a kind of

silly season was very bad because into the news vacuum

would creep stuff that they didn't want.

So the Tories have decided they've invented something,

brace yourself with this, the week.

Oh, I love it.
