| 0:00.0 | What's going on? Welcome to Fit Healthy and Happy Podcast. I'm your host Josh here with my co-host. KG. And today we're going to be going over a topic of five signs to know that you're improving. And we want to take it a little further. You know, we're not going to do a cliche. The scale is going down, things like that. But five other factors you can know, five other factors you can consider to know you're going in the right direction. and hey maybe if these things aren't happening the way they should maybe going in the wrong direction so let's jump right into it so number one you will definitely notice improvement when your clothes start to fit differently |
| 0:32.6 | um so a lot of times like josh mentioned it's differently better is the question here let's make, but not always. You know you're a lifter if you can not find a good pair of jeans. That's true. Right? Because lifting actually changes your physique. So, you know, ideally they make clothes for the average person who's not going to have a ton of muscularity. So usually, you know, they won't make the quads wider, the calves tighter, the waist know things like that or you know it's really tough because if you're really in shape person |
| 0:59.5 | You have a smaller waist a bigger butt bigger legs this is a healthy place to store fat so if your jeans are getting a little snug in weird areas |
| 1:06.2 | You're probably doing a good thing so long as that area is not your waist |
| 1:10.0 | And that's you know kind of just a fun little factor that I do notice, a ton of people notice. I have so many clients that train with me and I make them train legs because I don't like to neglect that muscle. And so many people are like, man, I have to buy new pants all the freaking time. So you can probably tell you're improving, especially in terms of muscularity, if you need to need to buy new pants yeah and if you're someone just like |
| 1:28.2 | who started lifting you may maybe didn't notice that your arms went up like |
| 1:31.8 | two inches but you may notice that you're starting to hug the sleeves a |
| 1:35.1 | little bit more you know that's an absolute huge sign you rip a shirt yeah |
| 1:39.5 | you rip a shirt you hit a curl and your shirt breaks that that's next level |
| 1:43.7 | that would be crazy. |
| 1:44.6 | I wish, man. I haven't done that. But even like maybe in a shirt, like, it's starting to fit bag here, there's just so many things that you need to, you know, take note of. And we don't mean toss it in the dryer and make it smaller, so you're tricking yourself into... Well, even you remember Your Picoat, your lots are too big, you ripped it many of the time. |
| 2:00.9 | Yeah, when I was gaining size many of the time yeah when I |
| 2:01.2 | was gaining size and gaining muscle like when I gain almost 10 pounds of muscle I was |
| 2:05.8 | I ripped it and I had to buy a new one and throw it out but yeah these things will happen |
| 2:10.4 | you know things will change hopefully you get a little more room by the stomach you know |
| 2:13.5 | things like your arms to start to fill out your shoulder width you know you feel tighter |
| 2:16.7 | you look better and that's a huge factor you know another important like your arms to start to fill out your shoulder width, you know, you feel tighter, you look better. |
| 2:17.9 | And that's a huge factor, you know. |
| 2:19.6 | Another important thing, too, to consider if you are improving and you want to look your best self, especially with clothes, a little side rant, is that you're buying clothes are actually your size. If you want to look worse, automatically just size up and you're going to look like you're swimming in your clothing like you've never lifted and that's an immediate downgrade right or on the |
| 2:36.4 | inverse where something way too tight you're |
| 2:38.5 | going to look like a go hard yeah you're going to be like what is this guy trying to prove so you know |
| 2:43.0 | little side side tangent but something to consider what's number two number two is you just simply |
