Hey, guys. How are you? Welcome to the show. It's Lindsay and Krista. Here to talk vaccines.

So make sure you're boosted, triple boosted. Make sure you guys got your

0:24.1

seenies. Got your vaccine card.

0:28.9

Oh, man. I just hear of a light one. Remember those days? God, dude. Remember, do I remember?

0:33.6

I just remember. Vaccine cards. Both in L.A. and New York, like, walking into restaurants and just the, the energy was so potent for like, it felt like a long time, but it was such a short period of time. And then all of a sudden we were like out of it.

0:49.7

I don't even know. That's, dude, that's what's crazy about people's brains is like that. It's like, we're all

0:54.9

like, yeah, okay. You know, we were in it and we're like, yes, this is reality. And then we're out and we're

0:59.3

like, this is not like, what? But I do think what it's done, at least in maybe the algorithm that I'm

1:06.5

watching and consuming and the circles that I'm in is I do think that that period, how

1:13.3

whiplashy it was and how intense it was and how I think traumatizing for a lot of people it was,

1:20.6

it did just erode trust in, you know, vaccines in general, whatever, or the medical industry or the government,

1:32.4

you know, whatever, whatever it is, it's probably all of it. And so I think we are at a time

1:41.2

where things can change. They have the potential to change.

1:45.5

They already have begun to change, you know, as far as the recent CDC modification

1:50.4

to the childhood vaccine schedule, which I think is in from my perspective, progress,

1:56.4

and just being more thoughtful about what we are giving our children, why, when, how much,

2:04.7

what's necessary these days in 2026 when there hasn't been a death from, say, polio and however

2:13.5

long. Like it's, you know, just being more thoughtful rather than this is how it's

2:17.7

always been. Yep. And we're just going to keep loading the vaccine schedule with 70 plus vaccines over the course of the child. It's interesting with this is how it's always been because it hasn't always been that, right? They keep adding more on. Yeah. But they're not reviewing it. Since we, around the time that we were born, I feel like it started to ramp up. So when we were born, I believe there's

2:35.6

only like total of like, no, maybe, because right now with all doses included, I believe it's

2:42.2

72 shots from the time that a child's born to 18. So I think when we were younger,

2:47.7

I could be totally wrong, but I think it was like 20 something. Call it 26, 25.
