Today on the program, my guest is Delia Kai, author of the debut novel, Central Places.

This novel is emotionally true. Every thought Audrey's head I've had, but I haven't actually lived

through these events. I haven't brought someone home. And someone was like, what do you think is going to happen when you get to that point? I was had, but I haven't, like, actually lived through these events. I haven't brought someone home.

And someone was like, what do you think is going to happen when you get to that point?

I was like, I really don't know.

And so just for myself, it was kind of really a really introspective way to answer some questions.

But it's kind of funny to think about, like, in a way, like, having

forecasted this scenario and then not knowing, like, what will it be like when I do it?

If I do it, yeah.
