I got to interview Blue for Base Space 2020.

We had a great time.

Asked her back on the pod.

She came and hung out with both me and Scott,

and we had a ball. I first heard of Blue when she was a side musician playing with Caroline

Polichick. She was up, up, up and away, right? And then pandemic. Just levels the playing field.

Blue is, you know, in her apartment decides to start posting on TikTok and just

meteorically rose.

And then has played with Chromeo, Jack Antonoff from bleachers and, of course, done her own thing.

She's her own artist scott and i play this

video for her and it's so cool because i don't even think that she had seen the video maybe but we play

it and like she plays two notes of her tune vintage and the crowd erupts it's insane she is writing

iconic bass lines and she's a rock star on stage. She's singing. She's playing and she's in her early 20s. It's so cool to see somebody with such passionate love for the bass. I mean, you guys, we get nerdy too. Oh, you don't think we, you don't think we get nerdy?

You don't think, you don't think she asked Scott and I about basses and we ask her about bases and you don't think we talk about maybe something secret coming up that she's got going on with Fender? Oh yeah, we get into all of it. We talk about pedals. We talk about touring, singing and playing, being an artist, being a content creator. Will she still record covers?
