some vegetables that you can just regrow over and over and over again from scraps

basically and of course there's many of these. I have a couple lists of them on my

site but let's talk about just a few. I'll go over eight today. Okay?

We're gonna start with Basel. First of all, Basil, absolute garden essential, both in the soil and in the kitchen.

I use it all the time. I make absolutely amazing pestos with it and I really can't have enough. So of course I want to grow more of it.

The way I do it is I will clip basil to three to four inch stems and I'll place those stems in a glass of water. I will then put that glass of water in direct

sunlight, wait till the roots are about two inches long, and then I can transplant those

cuttings into pots, and eventually those will also become full basil plants.

Of course then you can take cuttings off of those and repeat the process forever.

All right, Bach Choi is number two.

This is an Asian green, really good when you saute it. It's actually a personal favorite of mine. And Bach Choi can be regrown by placing the root end in water in a well-lit area.

It'll take about one to two weeks,

but then you can transplant it into a pot with soil

and you can grow a full new head.

All right, number three is carrots.

It actually surprised me that you could regrow carrots.
