let me say that again joel ward a black hockey player he plays for the washington capitals and i

and i'll admit i didn't know about this okay because i am not a a hockey fan. There are certain black stereotypes that I fit perfectly.

Like, I can't swim and I don't know anything about hockey.

So, getting back to this story, Joe Ward plays for the Washington Capitals.

He scored the game seven winning goal in overtime against the Boston Bruins, who were

champions, they're eliminated now, and he scored it under Bruins goalie, a guy named

Tim Thomas.

Now, here's why this story is a great story and why Joel Ward is a great man.

Obviously, if you're a black

guy playing hockey, you've dealt with racism all your life because there's not many black hockey

players. Now, the ironic thing is Tim Thomas is a guy from the Boston Bruins who refused to go

to the White House and meet Barack Obama. You know how champions always get to meet the president, like championship teams?

He didn't go.

Now, he claims he didn't go because he doesn't like big government.

Really?

Really, Tim?

Big government.

That's why you didn't go?
