I'm Hey, hey friends, you're listening to another episode of Truth Talks with Tara, a show where we get to the truth of God's word and talk about how that applies in our day-to-day lives.

We uncomplicate scripture here. We answer

questions that you may have about life and relationships and motherhood and all of the things.

And today we're going to be talking about motherhood, one of those things. We're going to be

talking about really like parenthood in general and discipling your children and not overcomplicating what it looks like, especially when they're

little.

Because I'm a mom of a little guy, and we have one on the way.

And so this is my current season of trying to figure out what it looks like to lead these little ones in the way of Jesus Christ, my duty, my call, my joy,

but also to do it in a way that is right for their

little minds, but also does not shirk back because I think so many of us, and I used to be in

this camp when I first had Hunter, I think we get really nervous about putting the pressure on

ourselves about like making discipleship so intense

and so beyond their ages when really there are some simple but powerful things that you and I

can do to honor the Lord and raise our children in his truth. And so I'm not claiming to have

all of the answers today, but I want to look at a few

scripture, a few scripture like passages to start. And then I want to share a couple ways that

Michael and I and our family have really started implementing, even just over the last year,

especially as Hunter is a little bit older. He's nearly two and a half. And this age has been so,

so sweet when it comes to

teaching him about Jesus and prayer and all of those awesome things. And so if you're a mom of

try to get your children in the word, to get them thinking, to get them memorizing, to get them
